Hi! I'm Polly,

I'm SO excited to be able to bring breathwork to you in a way which is super easy to access and which has the power to change how you feel in a short amount of time.

So how did I get into breathwork?

Well, for me, perimenopause was a whirlwind of stress, anxiety, and hormonal mayhem. I felt like a ticking bomb. Diet, exercise, and HRT helped, but something crucial was missing.

Meditation seemed promising, but sitting still for hours was painful and boring. Apps offered temporary relief, but my mind's wanderings were impossible to control. And then I stumbled upon breathwork.

15 minutes of this powerful practice changed everything. The tension melted away, replaced by a tingling lightness and a deeper peace than I'd ever known. My body vibrated with bliss, a feeling I'd only glimpsed after hours of meditation. This was it - a faster, easier, and more effective way to find inner calm.

I became hooked. I took a six month training and 60 hours of practice guiding others through breathwork journeys, combining breath, meditation, and music. The results were incredible. My clients were able to bypass their mind chatter, tap into their innate healing power, and experience a calmer nervous system - crucial for managing perimenopause symptoms.

As for me, I'm the calmest I've ever been. My meltdowns are rare, and I can now respond thoughtfully, even to life's curveballs. This practice is a gift, and the more you do it, the better it gets!

What actually is breathwork?

Breathwork refers to various techniques that involve consciously controlling and regulating breathing patterns. Breathwork simply uses your breath to make a positive change to the way you think and feel.

Breathing consciously has the ability to release anxiety, stress and tension, and shift stuck emotions that create heaviness and overwhelm in the body.

Think of it as a workout for your nervous system, bringing your body back into balance.

In a world that never stops, taking a pause is a precious gift to yourself.

What can you expect from a 30 minute breathwork Journey?

1. The Opening 

There'll be a quick introduction telling you what to expect and a demonstration of the breath pattern to be used during the journey.

2. Intention Setting

Setting intentions allows you to focus your physical, mental and emotional energy.  Think of it as typing your destination into Google Maps.  It gives you a desination.

3. Body Connection 

Before breathing, you'll be guided through a short and simple meditation to help you get out of your mind and into your body.

4. Breath Pattern 

This is when you get to breathe using perhaps one or two different breath patterns which may include breath holds.  For a 30 minute journey, this part will last about 8 minutes.

5. Soak It In

The best bit!  As you return to your normal breath, soak in the feelings,  savour the moment and let whatever wants to come through, come through.

6. The Closing

A chance for reflection and some short and simple guidance for post journey care will be shared.
