What is breathwork?
Breathwork refers to various techniques that involve consciously controlling and regulating breathing patterns. Breathwork simply uses your breath to make a positive change to the way you think and feel.
Breathing consciously has the ability to release anxiety, stress and tension, and shift stuck emotions that create heaviness and overwhelm in the body.
Think of it as a workout for your nervous system, bringing your body back into balance.
In a world that never stops, taking a pause is a precious gift to yourself.

What can you expect from a 30 minute breathwork Journey?
1. The Opening
There'll be a quick introduction telling you what to expect and a demonstration of the breath pattern to be used during the journey.
2. Intention Setting
Setting intentions allows you to focus your physical, mental and emotional energy. Think of it as typing your destination into Google Maps. It gives you a desination.
3. Body Connection
Before breathing, you'll be guided through a short and simple meditation to help you get out of your mind and into your body.
4. Breath Pattern
This is when you get to breathe using perhaps one or two different breath patterns which may include breath holds. For a 30 minute journey, this part will last about 8 minutes.
5. Soak It In
The best bit! As you return to your normal breath, soak in the feelings, savour the moment and let whatever wants to come through, come through.
6. The Closing
A chance for reflection and some short and simple guidance for post journey care will be shared.

Hi! I'm Polly - Your Breathwork Facilitator
I am so excited to be able to bring breathwork to you in a way which is super easy to access and which has the power to change how you feel in a short amount of time.
I discovered breathwork about a year ago and became so utterly in love with it that I jumped at the chance to take an intense 6 month training with the brilliant Pause Breathwork Facilitator Training Programme.
Through breathwork, I've cultivated a heightened sense of presence, deepened my connection with my inner self and my intuition, and discovered an unshakable calm and tranquility. It helps to sharpen my focus and keep my energy levels stable...the benefits are endless!
Before I tried breathwork, I'd been meditating for a number of years, and although I still like to meditate, I discovered how breathwork gets you even better results in a fraction of the time. It's a WIN WIN!
I am very proud to be a Trauma-Informed Pause Breathwork Facilitator. This means I integrate trauma-informed principles into every session, creating a safe and inclusive space.
